Coronavirus Italy and Korea | Travel Ban updates for travel to Australia
Following on from our previous update, further restrictions for the Coronavirus Travel Ban now include travellers from the Republic of Korea and Italy.

-Travellers from Italy will need to undergo enhanced health screening and temperature tests.
Please note, from 11 March 2020, the Government has imposed a further restriction to individuals who had travelled from or through Italy in the last 14 days. Travellers from Italy are now also included in Australia’s Coronavirus Travel Ban.
-Temporary visa holders (excluding permanent residents of Australia) who have been in the Republic of Korea on or after 5 March 2020 will not be allowed to enter Australia for 14 days from of leaving or transiting through the Republic of Korea.
-Australian citizens and permanent residents will still be able to enter Australia, as well as their immediate family members (spouses, legal guardians or dependants only) but they will need to self-isolate at home for 14 days from the day of leaving the Republic of Korea.
Travellers from these countries should reconsider their need to travel to Australia and assess how the restrictions will impact their arrangements.
