Managing Director, Migration Consultant

SHEILA WOODS

A very experienced migration agent, Sheila has always been fascinated by this field. Her university degree thesis was on Australia’s post-war immigration history (and it earned her first-class honours).

She began her career in the not-for-profit sector, becoming a Registered Migration Agent in 2005 while working for Australian Visa & Migration Service.
When the AVMS business went public in 2008, Sheila was quickly promoted to become the Immigration Manager for the new organisation, managing one of the largest teams of Registered Migration Agents in WA.

In 2010, Sheila acquired the business through a management buyout. She went on to build a strong business, servicing clients from large multinationals to smaller local firms.

Sheila has extensive experience in advising businesses about their migration matters and managing corporate migration projects. She has helped businesses in a diverse range of industries, including oil and gas, mining services, utilities and hospitality. Her other particular speciality is navigating difficult migration problems.

In January 2014, Sheila created Immigracious, a more personalised, accessible consultancy dedicated to simplifying the migration process for businesses and individual clients.

ELAIN FLYNN

Elain graduated from University College Dublin in 2007 with an honours degree in Economics and Politics & International Relations.

She began her professional career in 2004, while still at university, working as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm specialising in employment law and litigation. She quickly became well versed in legal processes and entirely comfortable dealing with officials at all levels.

Elain has worked as an administrator and client liaison specialist in the migration field since 2010. She has a thorough understanding of process and a positive, detail-oriented approach.

At Immigracious, Elain ensures our client management is meticulous, with effective regular communication and a strong focus on results.

Having recently undertaken a Post-Graduate Certificate in Australian Law and Practice at Murdoch University, Elain is now a Registered Migration Agent.
