Revised Skilled Occupation Lists Announced

Following consultation with industry bodies, the Government has today confirmed which occupations will remain or be added to the revised Medium to Long Term Skilled Occupations List (MLTSOL) and Short Term Skilled Occupations List (STSOL).

Immigracious has made note of several changes to the original skilled occupations lists announced by the Government in April. We have documented these below for your reference.

Occupations removed from the skilled occupation lists

Occupations added to the MLTSOL

Occupations added to the STSOL

table 3

Occupations moved to the MLTSOL from the STSOL

Caveats have been noted in the above tables where applicable. Caveats act to restrict the use of the 457 visa under certain circumstances.

Immigracious will be in touch over the coming week to advise what these changes may mean for you or your business.

To discuss the caveats that apply to a particular occupation, or if you would like to understand alternative visa options for yourself or your business, we encourage you to contact Immigracious for a complimentary assessment on +61 (8) 6185 2770 or at hello@immigracious.com.au.
